Distance learning? The Lawrence is here for you.
We are developing partnerships with districts to support science learning. We can offer the following district-wide elementary, middle, and high school programs, as well as other custom options: multi-session, interactive, hands-on and NGSS-aligned virtual science lesson sequences; stand-alone interactive virtual classroom workshops; interactive virtual science shows; and teacher professional learning to support virtual NGSS instruction. If your district is interested in partnering with us, please contact Reyna Hamilton.
The Next Generation Science Standards are the new K-12 science standards and are rich in content and practice. These new standards represent a significant shift in teaching and learning. The Hall's experienced educators can assist you in implementing the new standards.
Do more science in your classroom. Our science and math curricula offer engaging, research-based, instructional materials designed by leading educators at UC Berkeley. (They reach at least 25 percent of the nation’s K–12 students at some point in their schooling.) Each program provides support and education in the use of these innovative materials and methods.
Your learning is every bit as important as that of your students! Each year, over 20,000 educators participate in our professional development workshops through regional, national, and international programs. Find out about Hall programs for teachers in formal K–12 classrooms, for informal educators in science centers and afterschool programs, and even for college and university instructors.
Resources for college students and faculty include full courses, modules, and materials that reflect current educational approaches to learn, teach, and communicate about science effectively.
