The Assistant Manager supervises the daily operations of the Visitor Services Desk and the Discovery Store. They write daily staff schedules, manage staff workflow, inspire and assist all staff in selling products, creating a welcoming environment, ensuring visitor satisfaction, and resolving any customer service issues that arise.

The Social Media Content Assistant will play a vital role in enhancing The Lawrence’s online presence and engagement across various social media platforms. This position is ideal for creative and tech-savvy students who are passionate about social media marketing and content creation. The individual will support the Marketing and Communications team to produce high-quality and engaging content that reflects our institution’s values and objectives.
The Shop Superintendent for The Lawrence oversees the daily duties and safety measures for the Production Studio staff, and leads this group to maintain all of the exhibits in the building.
Come work in the Lawrence Hall of Science Production Studio! The Mechanician Lab Helper will work closely with other team members to help generate solutions to interactive exhibit and educational materials challenges.

The Planetarium Manager will manage program development and delivery for Earth & space science content at the Lawrence Hall of Science.
The Planetarium Specialist will deliver Earth & space science programming to public audiences across the science center. This position maintains presentation spaces and knowledge of equipment in our planetarium domes, Science on a Sphere, relevant exhibits and events, and other educational offerings.
The Education Facilitator works with learners of all ages (but primarily elementary-aged kids), making science fun with hands-on experiences in different exhibit spaces at The Lawrence Hall of Science, UC Berkeley’s only public science center. In addition to facilitating learning, this position also cares for the accessibility and safety of the learning spaces and communicates any perceived need to supervisors.
