Amplify Science

Amplify Science is research-driven, digitally enhanced core curriculum for Grades K-8 that comprehensively addresses the vision described in the NRC Framework for K-12 Science Education, including the three dimensions of the Next Generation Science Standards. Students inhabit the role of scientists and engineers throughout each unit. Through rich, multi-modal experiences and authentic problem-solving, Amplify Science will help teachers develop the next generation of students to be critical scientists and thoughtful citizens.

FOSS

FOSS (Full Option Science System) is a research-based science curriculum for grades K-8 developed at the Lawrence Hall of Science, University of California, Berkeley. FOSS has evolved from a philosophy of teaching and learning that has guided the development of successful active-learning science curricula for more than 40 years. The FOSS Program bridges research and practice by providing tools and strategies to engage students and teachers in enduring experiences that lead to deeper understanding of the natural and designed worlds.

SEPUP

SEPUP (The Science Education for Public Understanding Program) creates innovative science curriculum for use in 6-12 education. Issue-oriented science forms the core of SEPUP’s curriculum materials. Every unit uses personal and societal issues to provide thematic continuity for student investigations and observations. SEPUP is part of UC Berkeley’s Lawrence Hall of Science. Our materials are exclusively distributed by Lab-Aids.
