Girl Scouts of America

Check out our new and exciting programs!

Girl Scouts

Lawrence Hall of Science has partnered with the Girl Scouts for nearly a decade. Thousands of girls have enjoyed our popular sleepovers and badge programs for grades K–12.

We’ve worked with your leaders to design precisely the right programs for your girls. We present small workshops (22 maximum) for Little Explorers and Daisies. For Brownies, we host a series of Try-It festivals, offering activities in health, music, math, and science. Girl Scouts have a wonderful time during their LHS sleepovers. We look forward to expanding programs in the future.

Cub Scouts

LHS welcomes Cub Scouts to their own sleepovers. You’ll “camp” among our exhibits, and “hike” through the science-rich workshops and activities—just for you!

Many parents also see nanotechnology as a future career field for their children.

    Remembering Another Winter

December 1972 began as an unexceptional month, although somewhat rainier than usual. At the end of the first week a light snow fell – unusual but not rare.
