Parking Information

We have plenty of available parking.

The lots are operated by the University of California parking system.

Parking rates are:

  • $1.50 for the first hour
  • $1 per hour thereafter to a maximum of $7 per day**

The University of California self-pay machines take small bills only.

Before leaving your car, note the number of your parking stall; the parking machines will ask for your parking stall number. You will receive a receipt at the machine, but you do not need to return to your car to display the receipt. Please do not leave valuables in your car.

**On weekends and holidays, you have to pay for parking at the inside cash register for a flat rate of $3.50. That price pays for all day parking (10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) and you must still provide your parking stall number.

Note that in the fall during UC Berkeley home football games, Centennial Drive normally closes at stadium way at 10:30 a.m. and reopens at approximately 4:30 p.m. Please use the Grizzly Peak Boulevard route on those days.
