Ingenuity in Action at Lawrence Hall of Science is a place to learn how the world around us works. It shows you how engineers and scientists solve challenges and find new ways of doing things. Work with Cal Engineering students to brainstorm ideas, build a prototype, and test your design as you work to find your own solution to these engineering challenges.

Design it. Fly it. Drive it.

 

 

  • Fly High: Create your own flying machine and test it in a wind tube.
  • Design and Drive: Combine wheels and treads to optimize your vehicle for climbing on rough surfaces.
  • Build a Bridge: Experiment with the basic building of bridges to create your own.
