Warm Spirits. Cool Science.
Daily, December 19–January 3
Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
Free with admission
Discover your inner scientist and create family memories in our hands-on exhibits, interactive labs, National Geographic 3D films, and Planetarium shows. All are open for extra holiday hours during Winter Weeks.
Warm up your spirits daily during Winter Weeks. Test your engineering skills and build marble machines in our Ingenuity Lab, experiment with motion and flight in Design Quest, and meet warm-blooded animals—and cold-blooded ones, too—in the Animal Discovery Room.
Or chill out and learn something new in our National Geographic 3D theater and full-dome Planetarium. Learn about the latest robotic advancements in Robots 3D, fly through prehistoric skies in Flying Monsters 3D, or take a tour of the planets and stars in the constellations.
