18 | Be a Bug
Make your own butterfly wings, create bug sunprints, and get your face painted like your favorite insect.
25 | Flames, Flares, and Explosions
Learn the science of fire and see real explosions (safe ones!) that delight everybody.
2 | Boat Race
Build a boat and race it in the Forces that Shape the Bay pond in this annual regatta.
9 | Spider Spectacular
Hunt for spider webs, make webs out of duct tape, create wearable spider parts, and view live spiders.
16 | Ice Cream Day
Make and eat your own ice cream with Chevron volunteers and a special ingredient that changes water's freezing point. Enjoy ice cream tastes from the famous Fenton's Creamery, who will bring along a display of vintage ice cream machines.
23 | Insect Discovery Lab
Hold and touch live bugs when the Insect Discovery Lab from SaveNature.org visits the Hall.
30 | Fizzy, Foamy Science
Color the Hall's sidewalks with foaming paint that you mix up yourself!
6 | Trapeze Arts
Marvel at the high-flying stunts of Les Aerielles Troupe arts, then try out stilts and a tightwire. Shows at 12:30 and 2:00 p.m.

Meet the UC Berkeley students and entomologists who are making cutting-edge advancements in the field of insect science.
20 | Engineering Festival
Everyone can build a hydraulic system, a wind turbine, or a bridge at this celebration of engineering.
