Animal Homes

Enrollment: 12 campers
In trees, under the ground, and in ponds…animal homes are all around us! Animals and Their Young

Enrollment: 12 campers
Some animal babies ride on their mothers’ back, some sit on their fathers’ feet, and some never see their parents at all. From a 300-pound baby elephant to a nest of tiny newborn mice, to a tadpole that turns into a frog, animals and their young are truly amazing. Join us as we explore fascinating parenting behaviors in the animal world through stories, games, dramatic play, and craft projects, as well as by holding live animals. Sign Up Now

Dinosaur Detectives

Enrollment: 12 campers
A hundred million years ago, dinosaurs wandered the Earth. What were these ancient creatures like, and how do they compare to animals alive today? Dig for fossil bones, use toy models to make footprints in clay, act out dinosaur stories, and make dino-projects to take home. Compare dinosaurs to modern-day animals, and try to unlock some of prehistory’s mysteries. Sign Up Now
