Where Business Operations Were
Business operations in Student Affairs happened in individual departments. This lead to significant duplication of forms, services, and workflows throughout the division. Forms and instructions for business operations were decentralized on shared drives, departmental websites, or not written down anywhere at all.
Where BusOps Is (as of July 1, 2010)
The BusOps Website has consolidated the collective forms and instructions of business operations for Student Affairs, creating a centralized location to do business. This website provides the structure for Student Affairs to continue to combine resources and create common documents, instructions, and workflows.
Where BusOps Is Going
The BusOps Center employees will work to streamline processes and create paperless workflows for most of the BusOps functions. Their work will result in new processes that will be posted to this site on an on-going basis. The website will be the singular location to find the most current and comprehensive BusOps information.
