The 2010 Summer Day camps registrations now stand at 1096, 4 shy of the mythical 1100. 65% of the 89 offerings are either completely full (40) or 1 short of being full (18). If we factor in the S2 camps capacity will easily exceed 90%.
The Residential BackPacking camp is up at Emigrant Wilderness this week. That camp had 38 out of 39 slots filled.
Total recorded attendance for Ice Cream Day was 642. Last year it was 556.
Even cool animals can be gross. Birds of prey (called raptors) are among the most powerful and graceful animals on the planet, but they still do some really weird and gross stuff. During this Lawrence Hall of Science Summer Fun Day event get an up-close-and-personal look at a few of California’s most common raptors. Two shows, 12:30 and 2 p.m. This presentation is our next Funday and will be led by Rikki Shackelford. It was a really big hit last year.

Ingenuity in Action is doing very well. Soon we will be adding Bridge building activities to the program.
