Mammoth Lakes
	The community of Mammoth Lakes is located on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in central California. Of significance is its proximity to the Long Valley Caldera, which is part of the Mono-Inyo Craters volcanic chain. Participating students are assisting LHS staff in gathering radon data that will be correlated with seismicity related to volcanic activity in the area and mapping caldera fault boundaries.
