Other Great CCI Publications and Products
While a number of LHS instructional programs are widely known, there is a treasure trove of other programs you may find of special interest. These include the Chem Study program, the Planetarium Activities for Student Success (PASS) program, Global Systems Science, the SAVI-SELPH (Science Activities for the Visually Impaired/Science Enrichment for Learners with Physical Handicaps) program, the CHEM (Chemicals, Health, the Environment and Me) program, and separate publications or products available from the LHS Discovery Corner store.
There are also a number of fine programs developed by LHS staff and now distributed by others, such as the Health Activities Project (HAP), the Outdoor Biology Instructional Strategies (OBIS) program, and the Science Curriculum Improvement Study (SCIS), now in its SCIS 3 incarnation, which was created in the late 1960s and early 1970s by Robert Karplus, Herbert Thier, and others at LHS and which revolutionized science education.
