Visit the hall Image

Bring science right to where you are, with a special visit by the Lawrence Hall of Science to your school, afterschool program, community center, or other site. From small workshops to large group science shows, we get students of all ages excited to learn during our visit and afterward.

Classroom Workshops

Classroom Workshops

Our workshops model best practices in teaching and learning, support the science learning happening in your classroom, and connect with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Along with student learning, we include observation guides for teachers to focus on particular aspects of pedagogy and three-dimensional instruction as called for in NGSS. We offer workshops for Preschool and TK–12 students.

Science Shows

Science Shows

Dazzling science presentations feature large-scale demonstrations and lots of audience participation. Highlight phase change, then wow your students with the science of fire or the power of electricity. Science shows are held at your site for groups of 40–300, grades TK–8.

Festivals

Festivals

Bring lively science and engineering experiences to your school. Students and adults alike investigate, collaborate, and problem-solve at 10 to 12 tabletop exhibits, generating excitement and love for learning. Festivals create an engaging atmosphere for open houses, family nights, and other community events. Perfect for groups of 40–150, grades TK–12.
