A’s Left-Hander Signs Autographs This Saturday at Lawrence Hall of Science
The Oakland A’s and Lawrence Hall of Science (LHS) have each been local treasures for 40 years. On Saturday May 3, Dana Eveland, the left-handed pitcher who is doing his part to keep the Oakland Athletics at the top of the AL West will be at LHS signing autographs from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The autograph session is free with admission to the museum.
40th Anniversary
Like the A’s, LHS is celebrating its 40th Anniversary with a yearlong list of events. LHS kicks off it’s anniversary with a Global Groove Gala on May 9, followed by events such as a summer ice cream birthday party for UC Berkeley’s first Nobel laureate E.O. Lawrence, and a free admission Community Day in September.
