Trip Around the Earth Activity

Explore the curvature of Earth by taking this multimedia trip up through the atmosphere and then around the planet. Starting your trip at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, where the Space Shuttle is assembled and launched, you can quickly rise though the atmosphere to space by clicking the "up" arrow or the altitude buttons with your mouse. Click the "down" button with your mouse to go back towards Earth. Each picture goes with the altitude button highlighted on the right. Once you are in "orbit," you can use the "right" and "left" arrows to quickly circumnavigate the Earth.
