A lonely little lizard scurries across the sand A yellow, brown, spotted gecko crawled into my hand this little guy is native to hot, dry, desert lands Like places in the Persian gulf, Pakistan, Iran A gecko is nocturnal, he lives inside a hole hunting crickets for his dinner is his only goal. Sometimes he sheds a layer or two, it helps to keep him clean he eats his skin for extra vitamins, eww it makes me green! Vertical pupils, blinking eyelids are his characteristics He has V-shaped pores above his tail, it makes the girls ballistic His tail is quite important, it's very fat and round It will pop off if he's scared by any predators around Geckos store energy in their short and stubby tail Geckos are territorial, well if it's a male Female geckos lay their eggs to increase their population and I wrote this poem to increase your education.
