JSHS is a three-day event, which is held annually on a university campus, provides high school students the opportunity to:

There are two components to the Symposium: Group from 2011

  1. All students participate in all symposium activities
  2. Students who wish to present their research will do so to an audience of high school students and teachers, and a panel of judges. Winners will receive regional and national scholarships and attend the National Jr. Science and Humanity Symposium. The 2013 National Symposium is planned to be held May 1-5, hosted by the Air Force at Dayton Ohio, home of Wright Patterson Air Force Base and HQS Air Force Research Laboratory.
