You may download
free teacher guides and free review sample
versions of the student books from the GSS
view/download pages.
If you decide to use the Global Systems Science materials
in your classrooms, you may do so in several ways:
- Purchase the latest 2009 Edition
GSS CD-ROM as part of
the hard cover Global Systems textbook
by John Christensen,
which may be available from Kendall/Hunt
Publisher.
- Buy the complete set of GSS
materials (books and software)
as a download from Lawrence Hall
of Science. Students can use the
materials on computer displays
at school and/or at home. They
have license to print 2 copies
of any or all the pages of the
books. See current
costs or online
order pages.
- Buy hardcopy books. This is
the most expensive option. Current
costs of hard copy books may be
found on the GSS PO/check
order page or the online
order pages.
- If you have some students who can or prefer to
use GSS e-books at home and some students who are
not able to use GSS e-books, you can "mix and
match"—get some hard copies and some
some GSS CD-ROMs or licenses in proportions to suit
your student population.
